Off the Shakedown > American Gospel > West African Music posts ,

I think The Blind Boys of Alabama are , and have been for many of their 60 years , some of the best in Gospel music . That is a term mainly applied to black praise and worship music which is a whole lot different then listening to white P&W .

Here at The Apollo , Jimmy Carter just goes nuts here . He is blind , eighty or so . It is hilarious how he deals with his helper , Joey Williams .

And way down in New Orleans , this is pretty damn good too ,

Have fun .
Genres people . Genres .
Seek out the BBoA w/ Lou Reed for an odd experience .

God Bless You for sharing this,
"I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God " Romans 1:16
